London Design Festival 2017

This is going to be a quick post about some of the highlights of London Design Festival this year. It ends on 24th September 2017. So please go visit if you can. We’ve been doing this for the past three years. And this year I’m going to post some artworks/installations that are not usually on my colour radar. My little one seemed to enjoy. I hope you do too. 🙂

The pink one of course.

“Metropolis” at V&A

Over 1000 handmade clay sculptures on display. She kept asking me why they put glass wall around it. Cheeks.

“Reflection Room” by designer Flynn Talbot

Expanding the width of the space.

Now, my personal favourite. “While We Wait” by Bethlehem-based architects Elias and Yousef Anastas.

The accompanying sound and video are must see. It’s about the cultural claim over nature in Palestine.

Thanks for reading this post. Feel free to share your favourite design/artwork from the LDF 2017 at the comment below.
