I discovered Royal College of Physicians via @studionicholson. I saw their AW2017 lookbook and I was like “Oh, wow, this building is gold !” So I did a little digging around and found this modernist masterpiece in the heart of London, right next to Regent Park.

This Grade I listed building is designed by Sir Denys Lasdun who’s known for his marmite brutalist piece National Theatre sitting in South Bank. Unlike the concrete beast NT, RCP is a gentler modernist building with infusion of classical aesthetics. And I just love when the architect didn’t hold back with the budget.
